Mind Resource Centre
Mind Resource Centre is located in the heart of Folkestone’s Creative Quarter. The Centre provides the base for our Community Service and operates as our administrative headquarters. Facilities within the centre consist of offices and counselling facilities, hairdressing salon, kitchen and café area, well equipped woodwork, textiles/craft and new music room, in addition to a large community space which is also used by members for social activities. Mind also operates a wide range of activities in the community (please see Wellbeing Programme).

Mind Resource Centre is also used as a venue for meetings and training by other local mental health organisations and groups. These include:
Rethink Carers Support Group – meets at the Centre on the second Thursday of each month form 7.00pm – 9.00 pm ( Mill Bay entrance ). Telephone 07941 495532 for details.
Shepway Open Forum – open to users of mental health services to discuss relevant issues. Meetings are held at various Shepway venues (monthly at the Resource Centre.) Phone S.W.O.F. on 01303 850856 for full details of dates and venues.
Hire our Community Room
Our community room is available for hire by local groups and organisations. It is self contained with separate access from Mill Bay. The room is capable of seating 50 theatre style and up to 20 for training purposes. Hire charge from £10.00 per hour.

Music Room
Our well equipped music room is available for use at any time. The music equipment is mainly percussion based but also includes a small PA and guitar amps which are adequate for practice. The room is available for hire to music facilitators and bands by negotiation.

Directions
By Car: The easiest way to find us from any direction is follow the signs to Folkestone Harbour which will lead you to Tontine Street. From the M20 leave at Junction 13. Mind Resource Centre is located at the end of Tontine Street - bear left at the brightly coloured Cube building. There are a number of pay and display car parks nearby, in the harbour itself, or if you drive past the Centre there is one located on the left hand side at the brow of the hill. If your visit is going to take less than an hour there is limited free parking on Tontine Street and other roads close by.
On foot: The Centre is 10 minutes walk from the town centre, down Grace Hill towards the Harbour, adjacent to University Centre Folkestone and Dove charity shop.
By Bus: from Town Centre bus station to the nearby Folkestone Health Centre bus stop.
