Folkestone & District Mind has been awarded a Charity Mark in recognition of the work we have achieved during 2019.
During an awards ceremony hosted by Simon Dolby of Streetspace and the KM Charity Team, Folkestone & District Mind were recognised for the excellent standard of charity work carried out within the South Kent area and given the KM Charity Mark to be publically recognised for excellence within the charity sector.
Adam Colthorpe, Director of Communications was there to collect the award; “I want to acknowledge all the tireless efforts from our entire team of volunteers, staff, trustees, and members. It’s because of the commitment that they have to support mental health and wellbeing across South Kent that we can proudly accept the Charity Mark Award.”
“At Mind, everyone involved in the charity is working towards one common goal; that anyone with a mental health problem has somewhere to turn for advice and support. We believe that no one should have to face a mental health problem alone. Whether you are stressed, depressed, or in crisis; we’ll listen, give support and advice, and fight your corner.”
